SlideDisc – Addictive Minimalist Puzzle Game
Indie game developer Rick Benedict recently released his latest game for mobile devices, titled SlideDisc .
. A puzzle game using minimalist graphics and controls, the game is promised to be addictive with a long list of progressively challenging levels.
SlideDisc is a simple puzzle game that challenges players to slide a circle through each level to the goal, much like sliding a puck on an ice rink. Each level has walls and edges that the puck can bounce off of in almost any direction, depending on the angle of the movement. Players will need to think hard about where to slide the puck, at what angle, and often at what particular moment, since there are also some moving obstacles in later levels.
The game offers ambient music that doesn’t distract from the focus needed to play the game or solve the later, more complicated puzzles. SlideDisc ’s developer promises gameplay that will be fun and simply addictive across 72 levels, all with the simple control of swiping in a particular direction.
SlideDisc is currently available for free on Android devices, and is coming soon to iPhones. For more information about this and future projects, gamers can follow Rick Benedict on Google Plus.
