IGM Forum Find: Ultimate Space Snake – Twist on a Classic
Old “brick”-style cell phones were notable for several things, aside from being nearly indestructible.
Old “brick”-style cell phones were notable for several things, aside from being nearly indestructible. They introduced multi-function devices that included games to a multitude of people, and one of the first games I remember playing on my old cell phone was Snake , which was frustrating, yet addictive.
Ultimate Space Snake , by NT Games, takes this classic game and adds a few elements: the ability to travel in all directions using friction-less physics (it IS in space, after all), competition for food (necessary for the snake’s growth, as you may remember), and enemies in the form of space snakes and asteroids.
Arrows indicate where food can be found. Asteroids can ruin your day.
You can customize your snake’s skin and gain power-ups with more experience (which increases with your size), and you can even eat the space snakes that are smaller than you (but be warned – larger snakes can eat your head and kill you). Post your high scores online and see where you stand compared to the rest of the world.
“Not the face!”
This free game can be found in the Google Playstore, as well as on GameJolt for PC download.
