Push Panic Now Available to Panicky Android Gamers
In 2010, the development team of Barry Kostjens and Ricardo de Zoete released Push Panic , a colorfully anxious mobile game.
a colorfully anxious mobile game. Four different modes of play and a whopping price tag of zero dollars gave players access to hours of “frantic fun.” The only thing it didn’t offer was an Android option – it was solely available for iPhone and iPad.
Four years later, the wait is over and Push Panic can be found in the Google Play store. Kostjens and de Zoete are pleased to make the announcement, and hope that mobile players from both camps will be able to enjoy the game. The duo, who have never actually met in real life, first joined forces for the production of Push Panic ; Kostjens, who has released other mobile app games such as iGangster , wanted his new game to feature more sophisticated graphics and, happily, found de Zoete through the internet.
Push Panic combines puzzle gaming with fast-paced, think-on-your-feet action. As colored blocks pile up, players must tap the appropriate combinations to remove them from the screen before they reach the red panic bar. But there is a limit to how many blocks can be removed in a round, which means that the player must be both quick and clever. Classic Panic is the base game, ideal for learning the ropes. Timed Panic gives you just three minutes with which to attain the highest score possible, which is great for idle moments when committing to a long game is just not possible. Color Panic forces the player to observe the colors on the screen, and prevent the appearance of eight or more of the same color. Finally, there’s Score Panic, the endless mode that tests a gamer’s endurance. Unlock achievements and mark your progress on the game’s leaderboards, and try to make it through all 75 challenging levels.
Free to play and now available on the mobile device of your choice, Push Panic awaits. Follow the game on Twitteror Facebookto see what the developers are dreaming up for their next adventure.
