New Visual Novel The Next World Launches Next Month

Next month Illuminated Games is looking to release their latest game, The Next World , a visual novel strategy mashup similar to The Banner Saga and Oregon Trail .

. Taking inspiration from 1970s Sci-Fi Illuminated Games is looking to bring treachery and intrigue to The Next World as in this new world things are not always as they seem.

The Next World promises many difficult decisions as you attempt to plan out this new utopia for the betterment of your colony, however not everyone will agree with your decisions and you must be willing to take difficult choices to prevent riots and sabotage as you develop the colony.

The Next World has great artwork that is sure to immerse you into this new world, and with a story written by Ryan A. Span of FRONTIERS and Mount & Blade fame, expect a thrilling story from start to finish. The Next World also promises hundreds of choices for the player to make over the course of the game, adding to the strategy needed to keep their colony alive.
