Fight Against Your Invisible Friends in Invisigun Heroes

There’s something special about gathering friends and playing a competitive game. Hours spent with one another trying to best each other. Multiplayer shooters generally hit the same familiar notes: a player’s character moves about the screen blasting all those who dare cross their path. Invisigun Heroes by Sombr Studio, however, has a twist on this genre. That twist being that every player is invisible.
Players enter a battle arena, with one of the unique heroes they’ll be able to pick from. Before the start of the match, they’ll be able to see their character. However, once the match begins their character becomes invisible, only to be seen again when they either fire their weapon or use a special ability. There are other ways for the player to spot an enemy combatant. Each of the 50 maps will have interactive environments, hazards, and weather effects. Meaning, that if a player bumps into a tree, that tree will shake causing leaves to fall as well as flash blue. Or if a player runs across a stream, splashes of water will appear reviling the players location. The game can be played online, or local with either 4 friends or bots. Players can pick from four different game modes as well as add match modifiers to customize the game mode of their choice.
Invisigun Heroes is currently in development and seeking funding on Kickstarter. The game is expected to launch later this year on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux. To learn more about the game and developer Sombr Studio visit the official website, and follow on Twitter.
