World Zombination Strikes Android Devices

After being downloaded more than 2.5 million times on iOS, Proletariat Inc. announced that World Zombination is now available for all Android devices, as was always intended after the game’s release on February 19.  The game mixes classic and reverse tower defense with MMO features set in a zombie apocalypse, and the players must take a side in the ensuing war.

The are two distinct ways to play World Zombination : Players can either aid The Survivors in taking back control of the city and exterminating the infected zombies, which plays as a classic tower defense game where they’ll have to place and upgrade different kinds of units. Different unit types include the heavily armed Outlaw and support Surgeon.

On the flip side, players who control the infected will have to go through the traps setup by The Survivors in a reverse tower defense mechanic. From Runner and Spitter zombies to Assassin and Cesspool units, the evildoers must level up in an attempt to infect as many humans as possible, to get the best brain per zombie ratio possible. Once zombies overthrow a stronghold placed behind fortifications, they can infect the entire city.
